Re Crops.....

I really need to work on in camera crops! Are these better though? CC please!! :) THX!

Julie said...: I love these photos...I'm not a professional, so take this with a grain of salt. I personally like the uncropped version of the colorful photo. Her little face among all those dots of color is sooo cute! Great job on cropping this one though, I just prefer all of that color for this particular photo. =); January 5, 2007 at 2:55 PM

Heidi said...: Such a cute and vibrant photo. I do like the original better than the cropped version. If I were cropping it I would zoom in a bit and off center her face and shoulders to the right, still leaving plenty of the balls in the photo. It's a great photo!; January 5, 2007 at 6:32 PM
Mar said...: I much prefer the tighter crop...it focuses on your subject; see how you really notice her eyes and you still get the color sneaking in there from her fun environment. The crop itself could probably still use a bit of work. Read up on the "rules of thirds" and that will help you improve your compositions/crops.; January 5, 2007 at 7:13 PM

Adrienne said...: Yes Ariana, this is my daughter, Avery. She's 2 1/2 going on 16!! NO kidding, she is something! I ran noisewear, and that really smoothed out her skin. It's too much I think, looking at it now, it took some detail away from her eyebrow and lips. Thx for your comments!!
